Additional Information on CGPP Application

Assalamualaikum and Good Day,

Dear Sir/Madam

In relation to the resubmission procedure of the non-compliance as per instruction under clause 9.4 of the CGPP Information Guide, Energy Commission (EC) wish to highlight that for all unsuccessful applicant:

  1. To resubmit to Single Buyer via email as per the CGPP Information Guide - the document for correction of the non-compliances only and the applicant does not need to submit the whole set of documents as submitted previously;
  2. To extend the commitment bond - to ensure 10 months requirement from the date of resubmission as required under Appendix 5 – LOU (case in point – if the resubmission is made on 6th September 2023, the commitment bond shall valid until 5th July 2024); and
  3. To ensure the resubmission is complete and comply to all requirement as asserted in the CGPP Information Guide.

For any changes or deviation to the original submission including but not limited to the changes of the SPP, Corporate Consumer, Interconnection Facility, Project Land, Financing Arrangement, and others shall be considered as new submission, not resubmission as mentioned under paragraph 2 above and the process of new submission shall adhere to the CGPP Information Guide.

It is also necessary to all new submission to reconfirm with TNB Grid on the availability of the interconnection. If in the approval letter from TNB Grid mentioned that there are some restrictions that need mitigation act by the SPP, the SPP shall ensure and submit the confirmation letter from TNG Grid on the availability for connection to the relevant PMU and commitment letter of the SPP to fulfil the required mitigation action to ensure grid security and stability.

EC would like to reiterate the resubmission can only be made on or after 6th September 2023 and any resubmission received before the date will be considered as non-compliance and will be rejected.
