Occupational Safety & Health Policy
It is the Energy Commission's policy to provide a work environment that is safe and healthy for all employees and others who may be affected by its activities.
The management and staff will work together to achieve the goals and objectives of this policy through consultation and cooperation.
In relation to this, the Energy Commission's policy is:
- To provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace and work systems
- To ensure that all employees are provided with information, instruction, training and supervision on how to work safely and without risking their health
- To comply with the legal requirements of safety and health as set out in the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, the regulations and approved codes of practice
- To review this policy when necessary
The Energy Commission believes that safety and health must be integrated into the daily activities, and use of safe and healthy workplace is a key factor towards the success of the Energy Commission.
