Coal fired power plant open bidding: Pre-qualification results for 1000MW Project 3A
The Energy Commission has completed the evaluations of both RFQ Submissions dated 21st January 2013 from the following participants:
1) Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Marubeni Corporation, and
2) 1Malaysia Development Berhad and Mitsui & Co. Ltd.
Both consortia have proposed an acceptable project site respectively in Manjung, Perak and Jimah, Negeri Sembilan and met all the requirements for pre-qualification.
Shortlisted bidders are invited to purchase the Request For Proposal document for the 1000MW Project 3A beginning 8th February 2013. The RFP Submission closing date will be 20th May 2013 at 12.00 noon.
